The MS-218B sub bass loudspeaker systems shall incorporate 2×18＂ LF transducer mounted in separate vented sub enclosures tuned for optimum low frequency response. System frequency response shall vary no more than from 35Hz to 300Hz(-3dB) measured on axis.

The loudspeaker shall produce a Sound Pressure Level (SPL) of 103dB SPL on axis at 1 Metre with a power, and shall have a nominal impedance of 4(or 2×8) Ohms. Input connectors shall be 2 Neutrik NL4 Speakon. A total of 4 handles shall be provided for the MS-218B.

The loudspeaker enclosure shall be rectangular in shape. It shall be constructed of 18mm thickness plywood and shall employ extensive internal bracing. It shall be finished in wear-resistant textured black paint. The front of the loudspeaker shall be covered with a powder coated perforated steel grill backed with open cell foam to protect against dust.
